The 2012 NMC Summer Conference was packed with perspectives and topics that spanned many areas of education. While I did not get to attend every session, I found there were two ideas that pervaded most of the sessions and keynotes that I attended: connectedness and personalization. In the context of learning and technology, the need for both is equally important.
