A Horizon of Internet-Enabled Things for K-12

By Daniel Donahoo

A few years ago I bought a rabbit.

It wasn’t your usual rabbit. It was a plastic, anime-designed, Internet-enabled rabbit.

The Nazbatag rabbit became my show and tell piece at professional development sessions. It was the future before the iPad arrived. I talked about how it told me when an important email came in, or could read me my RSS feed. I thought the future shaped like this rabbit. But, it never caught on. Not like tablets have.

Sparking innovation, learning and creativity.
