Announcing Grants for Second Round of HP Catalyst Academy Mini-Courses

20 New Offerings Will Expand Corpus of Free, High Quality, STEMx Learning Experiences for Educators Around the Globe

The International Society for Technology in Education (ISTE®) and the New Media Consortium (NMC) announced the second cohort of HP Catalyst Academy Fellows. With this new group of innovative education leaders from around the globe, the HP Catalyst Academy will greatly expand its offering of free, online professional development to accelerate *STEMx education, transform teaching practices, and continue to close the global skills gap.

Where in the World is the NMC?

The NMC has been in conference mode over the past few months - first, starting with our own annual Summer Conference in Hilton Head, SC! This was an exciting time for everybody. The next major stop was at the International Society for Technology Education (ISTE) conference, held in San Antonio, TX.

NMC Launches Free Social Media Training for Teachers — in Facebook

The New Media Consortium opened enrollment for its free, online mini-course “Applications of Social Media for STEMx Teaching,” which will take place in Facebook.
