In return, we offer a small honorarium, an editorial eye, and a far-reaching audience with which to share your work. NMC blog posts typically cover edtech topics and are written from an identifiable angle -- as a higher ed/K-12 educator, a museum/library professional, a STEM teacher, a Maker, etc. We encourage writing on any subject that will invite conversation about teaching and learning in the 21st century. The New Media Consortium has released two Portuguese translations for two editions in the NMC Horizon Report series at the 19th International Congress on Distance Education in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. These translations are made possible through a collaboration between the NMC, Colégio Bandeirantes, and Bandtec. More >

The New Media Consortium (NMC) hosted the 2013 NMC Summer Conference in Hilton Head, South Carolina. Hundreds of highly skilled education professionals traveled from across the globe to attend the NMC’s most influential event of the year. The conference commemorated the 20th Anniversary of the NMC. Nearly 50 sessions highlighted the integration of emerging technologies into teaching, learning, and creative inquiry. More >
