NMC Membership Types

There are two choices for NMC institutional memberships: Option 1 and Option 2. Both enjoy a wide array of benefits, including but not limited to:

Early access to our educational technology publications, including the NMC Horizon Report series
Access to timely research reports and briefs not available to the public
Discounted or complimentary registrations to our events
Access to an email listserv to connect with nearly 6,000 NMCers from all over the world

Option 2 Membership
Option 2 is the best way to take advantage of everything the NMC has to offer — and it's the best deal. For the cost of $5,000 annually, up to 50 individuals from your institution will be included in your membership. So what do you and your 49 colleagues get out of it?

Enjoy early access to educational technology research publications and intelligence briefs that Option 1 Members receive three months later. These special publications are not released to the public and are intended to inform decision-making and stimulate new ideas and approaches for teaching and learning at your institution.

Additionally, under this plan, members get four complimentary registrations to our biggest face-to-face event — the annual NMC Summer Conference — a $2,380 value. In the Option 1 Membership, members pay $595 for each registration.

Once you join, you will be automatically eligible to serve on the NMC Campus Leaders Advisory Board, our inner most circle of educational technology luminaries. In this role, you will act as a liaison between the NMC and your institution, helping us to identify emerging topics in teaching and learning and to set our yearly goals.

Do you follow the NMC Horizon Report series? Then you’ll especially like receiving member-only copies of the interim reports we produce that analyze important trends, challenges, and technologies not featured in the final report. Plus, you’ll be mailed 10 coveted print copies of each Horizon Report — an $80 value.

Option 1 Membership
Option 1 Membership in the NMC costs $2,500 annually and accommodates up to 25 people from your institution. Enjoy receiving member-only educational technology research publications and briefs, as well as interim work products from the NMC Horizon Project that analyze important trends, challenges, and technologies not featured in the final NMC Horizon Reports.

Speaking of the NMC Horizon Report series, you’ll be privy to five printed copies when each edition is published — a $40 value.

Save more money when you attend our annual NMC Summer Conference — members receive a $200 discount for each person who registers from their institution.
