Light — the thing that makes us see the world differently. The metaphor that persists in our favorite literature. The connective theme in so many of the paintings we admire. It's something we can easily see and feel, but capturing it is an elusive art form... until now.
Join the NMC Community and Straw Hat Visuals for three days of education, hands-on instruction, and tons of inspiration from Pulitzer Prize-winning photographer Bill Frakes. During this workshop, we will explore still and video portraiture, lighting for portraits, shooting models (individuals and groups), and street photography, with an additional session on light painting. Professional models, studio lighting, makeup and audio equipment will be provided.
If you've never been on an NMC Photo Safari before, it is such a special opportunity for professional development, inspiration, and bonding with fellow shutterbugs. Bill Frakes' passion is infectious and you will walk away with unforgettable memories, new friendships, improved techniques, and gigabytes of amazing film. Registration is $295; spaces are limited and fill up quickly. Have questions? Email nancy at nmc.org.
