NMC Photo Safari

Whether you are a seasoned photog traveling with suitcases full of lenses, an interested hobbyist thinking about buying your first digital SLR, or anywhere in between — the NMC Photo Safari is intimate enough that personal development is guaranteed.

The NMC Photo Safari has been a featured event of the NMC Summer Conference since 2002, visiting locations from Princeton to Disney to Point Lobos. But for the first time in 2011, the NMC Community conducted three days of intense photographic training independent from the Summer Conference in Jackson, Wyoming.

Thanks to a new partnership with Straw Hat Visuals, we will feature programs based on the latest in digital storytelling, long format videos, music videos, and portraiture. With the advent of digital motion capture on most SLR cameras, the NMC Photo Safari is also a great place to learn how to express yourself through moving images and sound as well.
