Let's Talk Sustainability: Climate Change and Electronic Waste

On October 28, 2011, Global Kids Youth Leaders in New York City ran a talk show about sustainability in the virtual world of Second Life. The program, called Let’s Talk Sustainability, supported high school youth to develop expertise in sustainability, online broadcasting, and virtual world construction. 

Join them as audience members for their next back-to-back shows:

In the Climate Change segment, youth will look at the causes of climate change as well as solutions that individual can take to reduce their carbon footprint. 

During the Electronic Waste segment, they will explore the following questions: What is electronic waste and how is it damaging our environment? How do our computers, cellphones, and iPods end up in China and parts of West Africa?
